Building Bridges Counselling Services operates on a sliding scale. Prices for sessions vary depending on client monthly income and individual circumstances. Our sliding scale is reviewed and costs for sessions are discussed at the Coffee and Chat.
Intake paperwork is typically completed prior to the first session. Paperwork is provided to clients at the Coffee and Chat. Counsellors reserve the right to take 10 to 15 minutes at the beginning of the first session to review intake paperwork. In the event that paperwork is not filled out between the Coffee and Chat and the first session, clients will be asked to take a few minutes prior to their session to complete it.
Payments for sessions are taken 48 business hours prior to the scheduled session. Cancellations and rescheduling require forty-eight (48) hour advance notification during business days and hours to avoid hourly costs. Late-cancelled sessions and no-shows, that are not due to an emergency, will not be refunded the hourly rate for the missed session. If you are able to reschedule your session within the same week, you will be refunded the cost of the session minus a $10.00 admin fee. If you need to cancel a session or miss a session due to an emergency, you will be refunded the full cost of the session as soon as possible. If rescheduling within five hours before or at the time of a scheduled session, clients will be charged for half of the agreed rate for sessions plus the $10.00 admin fee. This policy is only applied if the session can be rescheduled within the same week. If cancelling or rescheduling a booking within 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, please call Building Bridges Counselling Services and leave a message that includes the reason for cancellation. 587-318-0018 *Please cancel by phone since email and text message delivery is not always instantaneous*
